Road Captain Sign-Up & Training

Join us for our road captain introduction and training session.  This training session will be held at the Dillon Brother’s Dealership. Outlined below is a list of some of the information which will be shared and discussed during the meeting. We're planning a lot of great rides this year and need your participation so that everyone can enjoy them. Looking forward to seeing you there.

  • Road Captain role and responsibilities
  • How to plan routes using the Harley Ride Planner
  • Basic hand signals
  • Riding formations, passing & parking
  • Use of release of liability forms
  • Review current ride destinations
  • Solicit new ride destinations
  • Road Captain selection of rides (plan, lead, sweep)

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.
